FAQ

• What are LED light therapy devices used for?

LED light therapy devices are used to address a range of skin concerns, such as fine lines, wrinkles, redness, uneven tone, and breakouts. Different wavelengths of light interact with the skin at varying depths, allowing treatments to be tailored to specific needs rather than applying a single approach to every concern. Red and near-infrared light help support skin renewal and firmness, while blue light targets acne-causing bacteria on the skin’s surface.

• How do at-home LED light therapy devices work?

At-home LED light therapy devices use controlled, low-level light to treat the skin without heat, UV exposure, or invasive procedures. Instead of working only on the surface like creams or exfoliants, LED light penetrates below the skin to stimulate cellular activity linked to collagen production, inflammation reduction, and overall skin balance. Modern LED devices are designed to deliver consistent light output across treatment areas, making professional-style treatments accessible without clinic visits or downtime.

• When will I see results from LED light therapy?

Visible changes typically begin within 3–4 weeks, with early improvements such as calmer skin, reduced redness, or a more even tone. By 6–8 weeks, users notice clearer skin, smoother texture, and improved firmness. Results develop gradually and look natural, rather than dramatic or temporary. Because LED therapy is gentle and non-disruptive to the skin barrier, improvements occur without irritation.

• How do I get the best results from my Glotech device?

To get the most out of a Glotech LED light therapy device, treatments should be performed on clean, dry skin or with a light-activated serum applied before the session. This allows LED light to reach the skin efficiently while enhancing how the skin responds during treatment. Position the device directly over the treatment area and allow the session to run for 10 minutes without removing the device or layering non-compatible products underneath. After the session, apply a moisturizer or cream to lock in hydration and support the skin barrier.

• Are Glotech devices safe for all skin types?

Glotech LED light therapy devices are designed to be gentle and suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin. They use non-UV light and do not rely on heat, friction, or chemical ingredients. However, we recommend speaking with a doctor before use if you are pregnant, undergoing chemotherapy, have epilepsy or photoallergy, or are taking medications that cause light sensitivity. Glotech devices are intended for adults aged 18 and over.
